The app is not code-signed yet (a certificate costs a few hundred dollars a year), so Windows and macOS show a warning on every new release. It is not malware, and your files are never uploaded.

You see "cannot be opened" — click Cancel (never Move to Trash)
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
Scroll to Open Anyway and enter your Mac password

How to install

Windows

Unzip and open the "AI Stock Helper" folder
Double-click AI Stock Helper.exe — if SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway (the app is not code-signed yet, so the warning returns with every new release)
If it reports a missing python312.dll or VCRUNTIME, install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and start it again
The first launch takes a moment to prepare itself — wait for the sign-in screen

Mac

Unzip and drag AI Stock Helper.app into Applications
On first launch macOS says "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified" — click Cancel (do not choose Move to Trash)
Go to → System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, enter your Mac password, then Open
One time only; it opens normally after that (on macOS older than 15, right-click → Open works)
