The app asks for an email and password the first time you open it — the same ones you sign up with here. Signing up gives you 200 trial image credits right away.

What your computer needs

Memory (RAM)	16 GB or more (12 GB minimum — the image reader will not start on 8 GB)

Internet	Needed on first run (to download the model) and while working (words are sent, never images)

⚠️ Installed an older version before? Remove it first

Earlier versions were shipped as a zip you unpacked yourself, so many people have several copies sitting around — open the wrong one and you'll see the old version and think the new one is broken.

Windows

The new installer finds them for you — during setup it lists the old copies it found, tick them and it removes them. No hunting around.

Mac

Open the new app and it tells you how many old copies it found and where, with a button to move them to the Trash (reversible).

Your data stays — the AI model you downloaded, your password and all past jobs live outside the program folder and are not touched.

📌 Once installed, the app opens to a sign-in screen — enter the email and password you registered on this website (not your computer's password).

⚠️ On first launch your computer will warn that the developer is unknown — this is expected

The app is not code-signed yet (a certificate costs a few hundred dollars a year), so Windows and macOS show a warning on every new release. It is not malware, and your files are never uploaded.

Scroll to Open Anyway and enter your Mac password

What's new in version 0.9.3

🎬 Vertical (9:16) clips now work — the previous version showed AI image reader not responding on every file
⏳ Start unlocks only when the AI image reader has finished loading (you can pick files meanwhile)
🔌 Leaving the app open for a while before starting no longer trips over a stale connection
📝 Warns when a file name is longer than 30 characters (Adobe Stock cannot match it to the CSV)

How to install

Windows

Double-click the file you downloaded (KeywordStock-Setup.exe) and click Next to the end — it installs over any older version
If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway (the app is not code-signed yet, so the warning returns with every new release)
Start it from its Start-menu icon (uninstall from Settings → Apps like any other program)
If it reports a missing python312.dll or VCRUNTIME, install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and start it again
The first launch takes a moment to prepare itself — wait for the sign-in screen

Mac

Double-click the .dmg you downloaded, then drag KeywordStock onto the Applications folder in the same window (if it asks about replacing the old one, choose Replace — quit the app first)
On first launch macOS says "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified" — click Cancel (do not choose Move to Trash)
Go to → System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, enter your Mac password, then Open
One time only; it opens normally after that (on macOS older than 15, right-click → Open works)
